Morgan asked Mark if their new huge success made him happier.

"Given that" I had a life that was as kind of stealing to survive, says Mark, "and having to get public transport without pay and sort of minor incidents and type of crime of low-life of things, then Yes." It is obviously easier to have money than poor dirt. But I think that to say that money brings happiness is reductive. "

"Arthur", hits theaters on Friday.

"It is clear that it is replacing a legend," Morgan said. "I want to say, Dudley Moore made 'Arthur' this immortal character." "Do you have any hesitation in assuming a part of one of his heroes of comedy?"

"I have to Dudley Moore in such reverence," brand said. "I have such strong feelings and affection for the original film." "Only he felt as a privilege and an honor".

He called the film "a beautiful way of updating a very traditional and archetypal story".

Brand, a recovering alcoholic who played to a drunkard womanizer, had an interesting way to the preparation of their scenes. "I was smelling liquor bottles to get into character, because as you know it don't already drink."

"I take bottles of rum, tequila bottles, to evoke the memory".

He called the experience by saying "a distilled, but the positive aspect of alcoholism", was like being drunk with the exception of "having to wake up with a terrible headache and a stranger".

Morgan asked mark the difference between British and American humor, and if the comedian tailors his act for the American public.

"I think that there is a direct corollary that is based on our language," said mark. "And, of course, I don't think is true that the American sense of humor is in any way to sophisticated when you think of geniuses such as Seinfeld (Jerry) and Pryor (Richard)."

As for future plans, mark told Morgan that he wants to "" continue to be a comedian, continue to be happy in my marriage and to make sure that when interacting with people, make them happy. ""See Piers Morgan weeknights 9 pm ET tonight. For the last of Piers Morgan click here.
